STARTING AGAIN: SLOW CITY

Edition de 2023

Last year we started the SLOW CITY project to raise awareness about reducing speed to 30km/h. In collaboration with the Education and Road Safety Research Team of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and with the support of Barcelona City Council, the Catalan Traffic Service and the Federation of Driving Schools of Catalonia, students of social education, teaching and pedagogy participated in the contest to make awareness videos.

Before the students began with their creations, P(A)T organized a technical conference and the Research Team on Education and Road Safety (ERESv) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona provided training in the model for changing attitudes to the students.

With all these efforts throughout the course, beautiful and emotional videos were achieved and we could not be happier with the results and with all the students and teachers who participated.

This year, we return with the Slow City initiative to the university classrooms. We encourage university students to join this initiative.
