World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Victims 2023

Learn about the activities of the delegations to commemorate the World Day in Memory of Traffic Victims

As every year, the Traffic Accident Prevention Association – P(A)T commemorates the World Day in Memory of Traffic Victims to pay tribute to all the people who have had their lives cut short due to traffic accidents, made which we believe also helps to make visible the serious public health problem they represent.

ROOF AGAINST ROAD VIOLENCE ON THE FACADE OF CITY HALLS:

The town councils of Barcelona, Reus, Marbella, Málaga, Masquefa, San Esteve de ses Rovires, Salou, Piera, La Bisbal del Penedés, Cartagena, Burlada, Segovia, Lleida, among others, join the initiative.

Presentation of the guide to good practices on CARE FOR VICTIMS OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS AND ROAD VIOLENCE IN JUSTICE INSTITUTIONS

Sunday, November 19 at 12 noon
Commemoration act with family members and authorities before the memorial to traffic victims in the garden area of the Paseo Marítimo de la Nueva Icaria and the Bogatell breakwater in Barcelona.

Interreligious Ceremony at the Brahma Kumaris Association headquarters (Calle de Porta 9. Barcelona; Virrei Amat metro) to accompany families with the participation of different religious communities and the participation of family members. Traffic accidents affect families of all religious denominations, therefore this day with the celebration of the interreligious ceremony, we have a collective memory for all of them and for the people and families who are suffering in their lives from the terrible impact caused by traffic accidents.

Mass in tribute to traffic victims in the Barcelona Cathedral organized by the Episcopal Traffic Council.
