Institutional Statement improvements in road safety in the city of Barcelona

The City Council of Barcelona has approved in the Plenary of today the Institutional Statement to improve the road safety in the city, powered by the Municipal Government and that has counted with the approval of all the political groups.

The statement frames in the will of awereness and sensitize the citizenship on the culture of the prudence and the responsibility when driving a vehicle.

With the approval of the Statement, the city supports the World Day of Remembrance for Trffic Victims and make explicit the will to work with a Vision Zero in the political of road safety to achieve a Barcelona free of accidents
