Training project in safe and sustainable mobility.
The Association of Road Training Teachers, PROVIAL and the Traffic Accident Prevention Association, P(A)T, announce the launch of a new training project in safe and sustainable mobility.
The “PROVIAL MOBILITY” project is aimed at students in 2nd and 3rd year of ESO. This is an educational action that combines training and awareness in road safety, especially adapted to the mobility needs of adolescents when traveling to schools and in their leisure time.
What is the key to the success of the project? Road training teachers and victims of traffic accidents working together for safe and sustainable mobility.
The first cycle of activities was completely a success.
- More than 80% of teenagers who participated really liked the activity.
- More than 80% of adolescents who participated found it to be a high-quality activity, with clear and understandable explanations.
- More than 90% of adolescents thought that the participation of a real trafficking victim and her testimony was very positive for the training.
The activity, thanks to the training gifts of the Provial technicians, managed to be dynamic and participatory and had a great impact among the adolescents of Castellar del Vallès. Such was the brand we made that the students even wanted to take on a role of holding their family members responsible and educating them in case they were driving unsafely.
At P(A)T we couldn’t be happier to redefine the experiences of loss and pain that road violence causes to prevent more lives from being affected.
